Q&A: Blue Jean Baby Vintage
Houston, get ready for Taylor and Lola Rogers. The effortlessly stylish sister duo behind Blue Jean Baby Vintage (“BJB” for short) is setting up shop at our May 7th HTX show.
We’re not kidding. These two go all out to create a mini retail store at the flea complete with killer neon signage, metal racks lined with threads (hello embroidered Levi’s and hand-tooled leather bags) and a glass display jam-packed with Native American turquoise jewelry.
“Blue Jean Baby is a mindset,” says Taylor. “It’s for the girl who feels most at home in a pair of faded blue jeans and an old tee. We’re a little bit tomboy, western and modern.”
“We’re inspired by vintage lingerie, skateboarding culture, American history, and Jane Birkin,” she adds. “We search far and wide for vintage so that we can offer our customer a considered collection.”
