These Flea Style Vendors Get Our Votes!
Early voting is open here in Texas for another few days — and then it’s Election Day 2016! And though Flea Style shows are no political showdown — we love each and every one of our vendors! — we thought it would be fun to take a little office poll and cast our ballots for a few businesses that we’re really looking forward to seeing in a few weeks.
Here are our votes! We’d love to hear how your debate turns out!
All the Wire (Dallas). I’m so excited to finally buy something from this cool sister duo that spoke at our Summit. I love what their company stands for — telling people’s stories — and their simple stamped jewelry.
The Boho Stow (Houston). I get butterflies every time I see this vintage furniture and ethnic textiles collector post on Instagram.
Casamigos Tequila (Dallas). I’m a huge margarita fan, and I’m over the moon to have George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s artisan tequila at our Dallas Friday Night First Dibs preview event. I’m pumped to try the Casa Bells tequila and cranberry juice concoction with a sprig of rosemary.
Fox Hollow Design Co. (Dallas). I met Tabby Schmitt back when the Flea Style show was at Trinity Groves; it was the first show for both of us. I fell in love not only with her unique and gorgeous booth but also her incredibly sweet self! It’s been fun to watch her grow and create new watercolor goodies over the past few years.
Blaine Bowen (Dallas). This is the first time Blaine Bowen will be at a Flea Style show. I actually started following her long, before she applied for the show. I love her style, and those bracelets and fun tees are right up my alley!
Manready Mercantile (Houston). Over the past year, we’ve gotten to know MM and owner Travis Weaver, and I’ve fallen in love with his Americana masculine-grit brand. I can’t wait to get my hands on those Bergamot + Teak products. That scent is sex and heaven in a bottle!
Field Rations (Dallas). I’m 100 percent sure they will have something amazing for my hubby (and me).
Hearth and Hovel (Dallas and Houston). I am pretty sure I need more perfectly styled air plants and succulents in my life.
Ladies of Paradise (Houston). I’ve swooned over these adornments for more than a year. I plan to attack their booth and grab something pretty.
Hayley Mitchell Art (Dallas). I fell in love with Mitchell’s work via Insta and absolutely cannot wait to get my eyeballs on this gal’s color-saturated faces.
The Resplendent Crow (Dallas). Sucheta Bhide is another lady who shares my passion for color. Her refinished furniture is the stuff redecorating dreams are made of.
Mirth Caftans (Dallas). If I had to describe my style in three words it would be: easy, breezy, muumuu. In other words, Mirth Caftans are my idea of a good wardrobe.
Join us in Dallas, November 11 (preview night!) and 12, and in Houston, November 19, to vote up these vendors and hundreds more! And just remember: No matter how this election turns out, Flea Style wins in a landslide, ya’ll! Tickets are on sale now!
