The Flea Style Workshop Roundup
With our fall shows behind us (watch for our recap stories and videos coming soon!), we’re turning our attention to planning our winter Summit — and to our fun workshop series. The first one was an absolute blast, and we’ve set up three more opportunities for you to learn a new craft and make new Flea Style friends. And, in the case of our January workshop, it’s also a chance to give back: All proceeds from that event benefit cancer research. Learn more below, and sign up today. (Use code shopsmall before midnight Monday to save 20 percent along with everything else on our site!)

Canton Flea Market Field Trip with Flea Style
The Date: December 2, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Deets: Join the Flea Style team for Friday shopping fun at Canton, the oldest, largest continually operating outdoor flea market in the United States. We’ll personally take you around the market in search of vintage treasures. Along the way, we’ll share tips and tricks for assessing the goods — and getting a good price. Lunch at one of our fave spots is included, and we’ll happily haul back anything you buy that fits in our van. In addition, field trippers get 10 percent off at shop.fleastyle.com and a Flea Style canvas tote.

Watercolor Banners with Thicket + Thatch
The Date: January 12, 5:30-8 p.m.
The Deets: Flea Style’s own Kristy Goode also runs Thicket + Thatch (that’s how we met her — she was a vendor at one of our shows!), and she’s geared up to show you the neat watercolor techniques she uses to make canvas banners. At our office, you’ll make a banner and embellish it with tassels, pom-poms, and other decorative details, and then Kristy will hand-letter your banner with a word or phrase that brings light to your life. All attendees get exclusive access to Flea Style’s in-house retail shop with 10 percent off all merch in the shop, including Thicket + Thatch products. All attendees also get a Flea Style canvas tote, an 11-by-14 Thicket + Thatch print, adult bevvies, a free class at City Surf Fitness and more.
