Vendor Spotlight: Kelly Christine Sutton
Our girl crush meter is off the charts when it comes to Kelly Christine Sutton. The Dallas photographer is so genuinely cool, talented and kind that you’d give a pinky finger to join her squad.
Flea Style has been lucky enough to call the East Texas native a vendor the past two shows (this spring, she will be sharing a booth with her artist mother to sell everything from oil paintings to pillows).
“I have a special place in my heart for the Flea,” says Sutton, who met two of her best friends while working a booth for a former employer at our 2010 spring show.
Here, a recap of a recent Instagram takeover Sutton did for us touting her favorite people and places to shop small.
“Hi! My name is Kelly Christine Sutton! A little bit about me: I’m a photographer living in East Dallas’s Junius Heights neighborhood with my husband, two cats, a grumpy hedgehog and a sweet bearded dragon. I also own a little online print shop. I love supporting other small businesses. Up first: The comfiest tee ever from Ascot + Hart and an awesome buffalo skull bolo chocker by Nova Handmades.”
“I recently scored my first piece of turquoise jewelry at my new favorite little shop Bella & Chloe, which is inside an airstream trailer currently located at 2025 Henderson Avenue in Dallas. They’ll soon be opening a permanent store in the area.”
“One of my favorite things in our living room is this jackrabbit pillow. It’s part of my talented mama’s art collection (her name is Karen Musgraves). She’s the reason I pursued a creative career and love having some of her work in our home. Also, the cactus print is available in my shop.”
