After a jam-packed week — space planned 100,000 square feet, uploaded our interactive Dallas vendor grid, finished organizing the new office, logged two media interviews/photo shoots, started crafting our spring show decor — we needed to unplug from the blog to simply get stuff done.
Alas, our batteries are recharged. Ahhhhh…… Here are some slices of life from the past several days.
Walking into our freshly decorated new digs last Monday. Although I miss our old office’s kilim stairway, it’s so nice to have some breathing room in the new HQ (not to mention central air versus our old window units!).
Alyssa showing off our debut event poster. We love the Dowdy Studio design and are bringing the colors and good vibes theme into all of our spring shows.
A sneak peek from our interview/photo shoot with The Dallas Morning News. The newspaper came to my home to shoot some of my favorite Flea Style finds ever as well as to get some tips and tricks for creating a collected style space. Look for the article later this month!
My living room and sun room (both above) are my two favorite rooms in my home. I love the meaningful treasures tucked in every nook and cranny and the warm natural light that streams through the 1930’s stained glass windows.
Visual overload last week. Have you checked out our Dallas vendor grid yet? It will get you giddy to shop March 12th!
We’ve teamed up with Dallas travel blogger The Simple Sol for our Dallas spring show. Taylor will be selling her amazing jet set photos for the first time ever (more on this fun collaboration later this week).
I logged about a dozen hours at this table mapping out our Dallas show last week. I pour so much time and energy into our vendors’ placement so they are successful and that shoppers have a fun experience.
Friday I sat down with an editor from Atlas, a gorgeous quarterly magazine based in New York. It was a pinch me moment to sit down with such a respected publication and tell them the story about Flea Style and our amazing makers.
Meet Kristy, our newest team member (and her cute work space)! We are so excited to welcome her to the Flea Style family!
Kristy will handle everything from event planning to web work and graphic design. We’re over the moon to have her on board.
