First Monday Trade Days is the oldest, largest continually operating outdoor flea market in the United States. Lucky for Dallasites, it’s located in Canton, Texas, a tiny town exactly one hour east.
Each month I try to visit the massive outdoor sale that features 6,000-plus vendors on a couple hundred acres.
Last week was insane (hence, the crickets on the blog), so Alyssa, Kristy and I shut down the office Friday to get out of dodge and dig for cool loot in the great outdoors. We shopped for stuff for our new shopping site, chowed down on homemade BBQ and even caught up with a handful of Flea Style vendors that we bumped into.
Afterwards, we drove our packed caravan another 30 minutes east to my lake house, kicked up our heels and enjoyed some vodka tonics under the massive pine trees and a little slumber party.
Here’s a few snaps from our fun adventure. Look for some of these lookers on our shopping site this summer!
