We’re super excited to announce the launch of Flea Style workshops! After our Summit in July, we started craving a way to connect more often with the awesome artists in the Dallas area. And that’s when we decided to host small groups for a little learning, shopping, and sipping wine.
We’re inviting you and your friends to join us one night (or in some cases, one day) per month for a creative experience led by Flea Style faves. Upcoming workshops include embroidery, printing, dyeing and more. All are suited for beginners. You don’t already have to know how to paint or sew or whatever the focus may be — just show up and have fun with us!
First up: Hand lettering with Viv Jordan.
What started as a personal project for Viv — her own wedding invitations — blossomed into a business creating and selling cards, prints and more. On September 29 (that’s a Thursday) the Dallas-based lettering pro will teach you how to use a brush pen to make your own beautifully lettered goods.
Flea Style will provide all the supplies you need for the class — plus snacks — and other takeaways.
Space is limited to 18 attendees. Find out more and get your ticket now.
Can’t make it in September? October’s workshop is block printing on fabric with Shamsy Roomiani.
The University of North Texas grad has hosted workshops for Neiman Marcus, The Nasher Sculpture Center, West Elm and others, and we are delighted to bring her to our office and to you! She’ll show you how to carve your own wooden blocks and create original designs on handkerchiefs and fabrics you can frame.
There’s a 15 student max. Find out more and get your ticket now.
