Paige Davidson Shows Off Her Flea Style Finds
It’s so exciting to see who is snapping up the vintage and handmade treasures on FleaStyle.com. People from all over the country and even abroad — hello, Australia — are ordering rugs, clothes, accessories, jewelry and more.
One longtime member of the Flea Style family who’s now the thrilled owner of a number of neat things is Paige Davidson of Cahoots Handbags. Here she shares what she bought and why she loves it.
I love all of the bits and pieces that I’ve picked up from Flea Style and the way they naturally mix in with the existing pieces I own and the vintage textiles in our handbag line! The site, like the shows, is perfectly curated, and Brittany and her team have sourced some killer pieces.
The woven leather red belt I purchased can be worn a few different ways. I’ll wear it slouched around my hips over an untucked shirt or cinch it tight around a dress or the top of a skirt.
I barely take off the three-strand coral necklace. I layer it with gold pieces or my red and blue necklace I got roadside in the Atlas Mountains. It has little carved scarab details up by my collarbone. I’ve been working with scarab imagery in my pottery. The scarab represents the original creator and has become a bit of a spirit animal for me.
The red leather belt with Mayan detailing I’ll put on over denim, but most often, because it’s so soft and drapey, I’ve been throwing on as a necklace.
The vintage brass and turquoise half-moon earrings are great statement pieces that show up and peek out even when my hair is down. They’re the perfect accompaniment to the engraved brass cuff bracelets that I bought on my honeymoon in Morocco, which I wear daily.
One of my favorite Flea Style pieces is the bone and brass hinged bangle! My hands are often too large for vintage bangles, so the hinge is my best friend. This bracelet has gorgeous detailing and was in pristine condition. The large piece of jade in the middle makes it!
We want to see all our customers loving their purchases, so post your pics on our Facebook page or your Instagram and tag @fleastyle. And be sure to check back often for new merch — we’re constantly updating our inventory.
