Our Resort Collection Is a Day at the Beach
We’ve spent the last few days curating, photographing, pricing and describing the new Flea Style Resort Collection, which debuts today!
It’s packed full of pieces just right for a beach vacay — easy dresses that double as swimsuit cover-ups, jewelry that looks like it was scooped up in a Central American flea market, colorful cottons that help beat the heat and more. Take a peek at a few of our favorites and read about our most memorable resort-centric trips below.
And then get packing for your own resort retreat.

Best resort vacay you’ve ever taken: I seriously can’t pick one. I live for beach-resort vacations. So I will say my most recent one, W Punta de Mita in Mexico.
Why you were there: My six-year wedding anniversary.
What you remember best: The chevicheria, a ceviche bar built out of a converted 1950s Chevrolet 3800 truck. We ate lunch there every singe day. Not sure what I loved more — the fresh seafood, spanning ocean views or that perfect turquoise truck. I’ve wanted a vintage blue truck for years. I knew it had found my spirit resort when I saw that Chevy!
Best resort vacay you’ve ever taken: Hard Rock Hotel, Riviera Maya. Yes, as in the cheesy chain of hotels. Keep reading — that wasn’t where we thought we were going!
Why you were there: My honeymoon (saucy).
What you remember best: Besides being over the moon with happiness to be married to my best friend, I remember ending up at the wrong resort. Turns out the booking company left out a tiny detail: We were booked for the Hard Rock Hotel instead of a gorgeous, new, adults-only resort as we’d thought. There was a topless woman, a guy in a sequin speedo and a bikini contest (with 69 contestants — yeah, 69) the week we were there. So, romance.
Best Resort Vacay You’ve Ever Taken: The Palms, Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica.
Why You Were There: A trip with my boyfriend, Clint, and a few of our close friends.
What You Remember Best: My favorite memory from the trip was the day Clint taught me how to surf, and after we walked into the town of Tamarindo and spontaneously rented a motorcycle for a few days! We rode all the way back to our villa and had lunch at the cutest little spot where they have you wash your hands in a bowl of fresh limes and flowers. It was seriously so awesome and a memory I’ll always cherish.
Best Resort Vacay You’ve Ever Taken: A two-resort yoga retreat to Belize last year. We first stayed in the rainforest, at Black Rock Lodge on the Macal River, and then went to Hatchet Caye Resort, which is on a tiny private island.
Why You Were There: To figure out how to change my life.
What You Remember Best: Sunrise yoga practice in an open-air pavilion in the jungle alongside a rushing river. Every morning I had a moment of Are you kidding me? This is my life? I get to do this? Also the snorkeling. Belize is a diver’s paradise, and though I don’t dive, I did snorkel and never have I ever been more dazzled by sea creatures. I felt so lucky.
