We are so excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Flea Style family… Meet Grace Dille, y’all!!!
When our graphic designer Kristy Goode told us she was packing her bags for Houston, we had some talented shoes to fill. But we think we found the perfect gal!
Grace is the former graphic designer for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and we feel beyond lucky to snatch this young, bright thing!!! Read all about the dog lover (more on that later) and be sure to give her a big bear hug at our spring shows!
Full name: Grace Elizabeth Dille
College/degree: Baylor University with a degree in Studio Art and a concentration in Graphic Design
Hometown: Barrington, IL
Three things to know about you:
- I’m obsessed with the Chicago Cubs. I grew up watching their games and listening to Pat and Ron on the radio with my dad.
- My favorite place in the world is my family’s cabin in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
- I have a black lab named Wrigley (after Wrigley Field, see, I really am obsessed) that means the world to me.
Past work experience:
After college, I worked at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as their Jr. Graphic Designer.
What you like most about what you do:
I love being able to capture and put on paper what somebody is thinking in their head, but they can’t complete themselves. I’ve loved to paint and draw since I was little, so getting to do some form of that every day is all that I can ask for.
Why you’re excited to work with Flea Style:
I’m excited to be surrounded by people who genuinely love and appreciate art and creativity. I want to be able to work with and meet all the different vendors to learn from them and just see what they’re passionate about!
Describe your fashion style:
My fashion style definitely depends on my mood. Most days, I’d say I have more of a bohemian style. Some days I’m feeling the 90s and am happy to just be wearing jeans and t-shirt.
Coldplay, James Taylor, Dave Matthews Band, Dixie Chicks, Chance the Rapper, Loggins & Messina…just about everything!
Pizza, cheese and crackers, and lots of candy!
Reading, drinking tea, painting, hand-lettering, collecting records, running with my dog
Collecting coffee mugs. I have way too many, but I can’t stop.
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it’s yours” by Ayn Rand.
Something only your bestie knows about you:
l had about 200 CDs in my car and still used them till last year, when I finally caught up with the times. But I gave in and recently bought Britney Spears’ last album as a CD.
If I get myself up to work out, 6 a.m., otherwise 7 a.m.
I’m a grandma, anywhere between 9:30 and 11 p.m.
