A couple weeks ago we hit the road and headed east to shop Canton’s First Monday Trade Days as a team. Be bonded, ate heaps of brisket and bought so many unique items (hello, bandana haul!) for the e-comm shop.
Here are some behind-the-scenes shots (and a video!) from our shopping spree and a few tips, too. Several of our treasures are now online. Use code freeship and shipping is on us!
Pack a big tote bag or wagon when shopping outdoor markets. More time for hunting and less for hauling items back and forth to your car!
Summer event coordinator intern Jordan Taylor enjoying her first Canton foray since childhood.
We tend to hang outside on the fields for most of our shopping time but we never leave without a quick visit to the Civic Center for more upscale vintage clothing and home accessory finds.
Skull game strong this past market!
We chowed down on barbecue sandwiches and Lay’s chips for lunch.
Grace slightly delirious from so much sun.
Don’t dismiss the junk tables! Some of our favorite finds come from these funky flea market corners.
Always pack a hat and water during summer months. There is little refuge from sun and water costs as much as a Starbucks latte! Also, flat closed toed shoes are a must any time of year.
