Fridays with Flea Style: TV Host Alanna Sarabia

Fridays with Flea Style: Alanna Sarabia

Today we launch Season 4 of our podcast, Fridays with Flea Style! We are honored to roll out our first episode with Dallas-based television host Alanna Sarabia.

Yes, the 29-year old reporter is a total stunner, but she has worked her way to a top tier media market with a bag full of humbleness, hard work and candor that — when combined on camera — cracks, sizzles and pops refreshing and authentic.

Here are a few fun facts about Alanna. Tune into today’s podcast episode to learn about her inspiring career journey (spoiler: stints as Miss San Antonio and a NBA dancer is included) plus score tons of advice ranging from getting your idea in lights to ways to look your best in front of the lens.

Any advice for fellow creatives or small business owners? Don’t stress over things you can’t control! Look at the big picture, not the tiny corner on the side.

What book is currently on your nightstand? Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith by Robert Barron

If you weren’t in your current job role, what would you be doing? Working in a ski town waiting for the snow to come down!

Describe your picture perfect day off: Mountains! The day starts with tons of good coffee, then I’d hit the slopes with loved ones and have lunch on the mountain around a fireplace after. Then more skiing, cocktails and evening window shopping before dinner with everyone. Oh and calories don’t count this day!

Current playlist on repeat? Coldplay’s X&Y album

If money was no object, what would you spurge on for yourself? First, I’d pay off student loans. Then, I’d take care of family’s finances. Finally, I’d build a massive animal shelter for death row animals that deserve a second chance.

If you could score a mentor session with anybody for an hour, who would you want to sit down with and why? Robin Roberts. I’d like to one day be on Good Morning America alongside her and the rest of the team, so this seems like a good opportunity for an introduction and guidance to do so.
