Catherine Giudici Lowe stole our hearts on Season 17 of The Bachelor. But now she’s doing so with her cheeky greeting card company LoweCo. inspired by the love notes she penned to her now husband during filming of the ABC reality show.
We sit down with the working mom to discuss her childhood, days as a graphic designer at Amazon, ditching her career to find love and what her life looks like today building a business from scratch at home while raising two young boys. Read some inside scoop about the open book below and tune into her fun and informative podcast episode for lots of juicy business and Bachelor deets!
Favorite motto/quote/life advice: Be present.
Aside from LoweCo. (obvi), what is your favorite paper goods company? Bell’Invito
Book currently on your nightstand: I’m in a book club and our most recent book is Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty.
What is something random the viewers would love to know about participating on The Bachelor? When we were in the mansion, there was a list of things we could request – like a grocery list – and it magically appeared the next day for us! That was pretty rad.
If you didn’t have your current job, what would you be doing and why? I always wanted to be a linguistic anthropologist or a food critic. But everything is pretty interesting to me!
Describe your picture-perfect day Reflexology in New York’s Chinatown followed by lots of water, dimsum and walking around Manhattan.
Would you say your paper goods company reflects your personal style? Yes yes! I have an affinity for clean lines and neutrals that make a statement. I won’t be able to have exactly what I want until the kids are a little older but my dream style is definitely reflected in my paper designs.
Current playlist or radio station on repeat? I love 94.5, 104.5 and really any hip-hop station. But if the kids are in the car, something more appropriate!
If money was no object, what would you splurge on for yourself? A month long trip on a yacht in the Mediterranean!
If you could score a mentor session with anybody for an hour, who would you want to sit down with and why? You can really learn anything from anybody. But,in this moment, maybe an accomplished chef so I could learn some good cooking tips! I love food. Or Yoda, because ya know.
