Describe your business/job role in 300 words or less:
I am a content creator, blogger, influencer and personality. I absolutely love my job because it has never felt like work. Regardless of if I was making money, I would love style and beauty. The fact that I have turned this passion into a lucrative business that inspires women everyday is the biggest blessing I have ever received!

Best career advice you’ve received?
Play long ball! Too many women focus on micromanaging the day-to-day so much so that they miss the big picture. What business decisions will impact your future in a year, five years, or even ten years? Every time I align myself with a new brand or partnership, I think about the impact it will not only have on me, but my audience. Because after all, my audience is who ultimately pays my bills!
You’re empowering women and men all over and changing lives through your public platforms. Who inspires you?
My mother. She worked her ass off for 42 years in public education so that we could "look like" we had it all together. There were many nights that we were eating fast food and counting pennies just to get by. She retired this year and we took her to Italy for almost three weeks. Seeing the look on her face was priceless and I bust my ass everyday so that she can adequately be thanked for the childhood she gave me.
If anyone could play you in a movie, who would you choose?
Hmmm... Can I play myself?! I mean, I was voted "Most Dramatic" in high school!
Tell us something people might be surprised to know about you...
I can't ride a bicycle. Not because of lack of athleticism, but more because I never really had the desire to learn. But, I'm a badass when it comes to spin class!
Who made the biggest impact on you in your career?
Probably the boss I had right before quitting retail and becoming a full time blogger. His name was Mohammed and I talk about him all the time. He always told me to "look for the cracks" meaning don't focus on the foundation you've laid (like the big deals you've closed), but instead be mindful of what might shift your foundation and cause a crack (the unforeseen!). He also always reiterated that being uncomfortable in a position gives way for the biggest amount of growth.
Last book you read:
I read Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss at least once a quarter. Its about the tactics and best practices of billionaires. Not so much so in their professional life, but more so about their sleep patterns, eating habits, workout routines and how they manage relationships.
