Heirloom Haul General Manager

(full-time position available)

Location: Frisco, TX

Job description:

Oversees all aspects of the business from ensuring proper inventory levels and managing employees to customer relations and administrative and maintenance functions.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
  • Phenomenal customer service and service training
  • Orders stock to ensure that proper amounts of inventory are on hand to operate the business successfully
  • Ensures that staff is present, on task and organized
  • Responsible for hiring and firing
  • Works with staff during busy times
  • Manages¬†employee schedules
  • Keeps the facilities in tip-top shape, clean and functional
  • Assists with marketing tactics
  • Maintain profit and loss standards
  • Basic bookkeeping and payroll
  • Works closely with Events Manager to execute daily events, both during store hours, as well as nights and weekends
  • Cash handling
  • Office work
  • Creates an environment that meets brand standards and beyond
  • Consistently hold up brand standards
  • Expo food and have extensive knowledge of our menu
  • Manage timeliness in the kitchen
  • Fulfill orders and needs for front of house and back of house
  • Problem-solving
  • Assessing and improving profitability
  • Liaising with guests, employees, vendors, and sales representatives
  • Ability to cook food on occasion
  • Housekeeping, when necessary

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have exceptional management skills with a strong ability to lead
  • Must be organized, multi-task oriented, mature and professional
  • Must be able to stand up to 10 hours and be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be willing to work the hours that are needed for the business to operate at maximum success
  • Must have experience in a medium volume catering store and base knowledge on how to grow this business
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a cheerful attitude
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have high stress threshold, good physical stamina and have the ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Must have the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Must maintain a clean, neat appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to leave drama outside of the business is required

 

Education/Training:

  • Previous management experience required, with at least 3 years in a management position
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred by not required
  • Must have previous experience in working with food inventory
  • Training and developing employees
  • Multi-unit experience is a bonus and an opportunity in the near future
