Real talk: I’ve spent the past couple weeks real

Real talk: I’ve spent the past couple weeks really reflecting on 2020 and where I hope to pour my energy in 2021. I scrolled through last year’s photos on my phone as a reminder, and I’m just blown away by the rollercoaster my team and I rode. Today, as we launch our latest concept - one that is the most authentic to me and Flea Style that I’ve ever created - I can’t help but think back to this image captured 4/2/20. The day I single-handedly had to clear out our Frisco store and all perishables from @heirloomhaul as we were forced to shut down all operations and shelter at home. I was so scared, sad, mad, confused... heart-broken. I had just built and opened this dream and it was being taken from me and I was terrified for the well-being of my team and makers that I love like family. Over the next eight months, we pivoted, got creative and just kept pushing forward the best way we knew how and could. We launched an online shop. We opened @gamedaystyle. We completely revamped @heirloomhaul operations. It hasn’t been easy, and there have been more challenges, roadblocks and even vandalism than we’ve ever faced. But we’ve continued to look for ways to evolve and thrive during these uncertain times, especially for the event, retail and restaurant industries. Today I’m going to soak up every second of this special next chapter for Flea Style as we celebrate The Bar. It’s a true testament to hard work, following your heart and never giving up. I’m so thankful for you, my team and our shoppers that continue to support this small business and dream. It’s truly an honor to run this company. I’m forever grateful for every single moment.
