Flea Style City Guide: Nashville

We first sprinkled a little Flea Style fairy dust on Nashville back in 2024, opening in a cozy bungalow in the heart of 12 South. Our boho-meets-Western vibe and hat bar concept made perfect sense among the neighborhood’s eclectic mix of coffee shops, murals and local makers.

A year later, we couldn’t resist when the chance came to snag a sun-soaked corner at the historic Arcade downtown. Built in 1902 and beautifully restored and relaunched in 2025, the grand old gal was a natural fit for a second store.

These days, Nashville feels like my home away from home. I pop in for a few days every month to hug our Tennessee teams and swoon over our hat bars. The sweet Flea Style townhouse is in the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood (aka WeHo), where I’ve had a blast soaking up its artsy, creative energy.

Nashville may be a bustling city, but it still manages to feel like a small town — one that greets you with a smile, a song and maybe even a plate of hot chicken. Here are some of my favorite hangs when I’m in town.

EAT + DRINK

Exploring Nashville works up an appetite, and this city never disappoints. Here are the spots I crave for caffeine fixes to loaded hot dogs.

COFFEE

Cafe Babu

1044 3rd Ave S
Nashville, TN 37210

I’m a sucker for the iced latte with house-made simple syrup. When I’m feeling snacky, the prosciutto and fig sandwich hits all the right notes. The decor is truly something else: earthy minimalist meets Flintstones, with Bedrock-style seating and linen-draped ceilings that mesmerize.

Humpreys Street Coffee

424 Humphreys St
Nashville, TN 37203
615-647-7554

Tucked in a little house in WeHo, it’s more than a coffee shop. The vibe is cozy, creative and community minded, and I love that when I sip a latte or nibble a pastry, I’m supporting local youth programs.

 LUNCH

Dicey’s Pizza + Tavern

425 Chestnut St
Nashville, TN 37203
615-942-7759

The Little Gem salad with crushed potato chips — trust me on this one. The thin-crust pizza is a local legend, but I swoon over the meatballs and sandwiches. If the sun’s out, snag a table outside.

Edley’s Bar-B-Que

2706 12th Ave S
Nashville, TN 37204
615-953-2951

Fried pickles and pork tacos (always, always the pork tacos) is my order at this iconic barbecue spot. If the afternoon calls for it, I top it off with a margarita on tap.

Pastis

1420 3rd Ave S
Nashville, TN 37210
615-212-9320

I ate at Pastis several times a week when I lived in New York City. Now, with a location just steps from the townhouse, I feel beyond lucky. A croque monsieur and a cosmopolitan make me feel très chic, even on a hectic Thursday.

DINNER

Iggy’s

609 Merritt Ave
Nashville, TN 37203
615-953-7488

This well-kept secret serves what is honestly the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I love everything on the menu, but the garlic bread with whipped cream cheese and the Bolognese are non-negotiables. The wine list is special, and craft cocktails impress.

Dos Santos

611 Merritt Ave
Nashville, TN 37203
629-202-8996

Just a few steps from Iggy’s, this WeHo Mexican spot is dripping with eye candy, from fun chandeliers to a dreamy candle wall. The crispy pork belly tacos are the star of the show, and the Coin marg is my go-to.

Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa

308 Broadway
Nashville, TN 37201
615-309-6295

You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take Tex-Mex away from the girl. I love going here for the pretty decor (unapologetically girly), tasty margaritas (classic, strawberry, blueberry), and filling dishes (tamales, fajitas, esquites).

SHOP

Nashville’s shopping scene offers everything from timeless antiques to fashion-forward finds. Of course, I recommend topping off every outing with a trip to The Original Hat Bar. Reserve online and you won’t have to wait.

12 South

If Nashville has a neighborhood that feels as exciting as finding a pair of vintage boots in your size, it’s 12 South. Colorful murals, parking-lot pop-ups and cute front porches give it a small-town vibe, but there’s plenty of energy on every block: college kids strolling with iced lattes, children chasing bubbles, and live music floating from all your favorite stores.

223 4th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37219

With its glass ceilings, old bones and many nooks to explore, The Arcade is a magical blend of yesterday and today, and it’s full of if-these-walls-could-talk charm. Locals popping in for coffee mingle with curious tourists looking for Music City souvenirs. If you’re exploring Broadway’s honky-tonks, it’s an easy little detour.

GasLamp Antiques

100 Powell Pl
Nashville, TN 37204
615-297-2224

For me, no visit to Nashville is complete without a spin through GasLamp. Every corner feels like a treasure hunt at the sprawling antiques wonderland. I have the best time scouting out artwork, coat racks, trunks, upholstered stools and more for the townhouse and our stores.

KICK BACK + RELAX

When the sun goes down, Nashville turns up. From two-stepping to just chilling out, these are my favorite spots to play.

Robert’s Western World

416B Broadway
Nashville, TN 37203
615-244-9552

Classic, old-school honky-tonk bliss. Order the Recession Special — $6 gets you a fried bologna sandwich, bag of chips, MoonPie and PBR — and grab a seat while the grill sizzles. The people-watching and live country soundtrack are tops.

Luke’s 32 Bridge

301 Broadway
Nashville, TN 37201
615-514-2031

There are many options for live music and good times on Broadway, but the six-floor, eight-bar party palace can’t be beat. Expect rooftop stages, Southern eats and country beats all night long.

Lucky’s

1401 4th Ave S
Nashville, TN 37210
629-202-6798

My go-to late-night hideaway in WeHo. I love a hot dog, and it has the best! The Lucky Dog — smothered in pimento cheese and potato chip crumbs — is pure comfort food. It’s also good energy for a round of pool.

Ramone’s Oyster Bar + Citrus Club

625 Hamilton Ave
Nashville, TN 37203
615-378-3598

IYKYK. Hidden on the fourth floor, atop Mercado by Butchertown, this coastal Mexican gem pulls me back again and again for two of my favorite things: stunning sunset views and delish margaritas. The fish tacos aren’t bad either.

DISCOVER

Nashville is packed with experiences that make the city truly unforgettable, from music meccas to unexpected adventures. Here are a couple of classics and a who-would-have-guessed moment that I absolutely had to share.

Country Music Hall of Fame + Museum

222 Rep John Lewis Way S
Nashville, TN 37203
615-416-2001

Every time I walk through the doors, I feel like I’m stepping into a rhinestone-covered time capsule. From vintage stage outfits and tour posters to Elvis’ gold Cadillac, it’s a feast of music history, sparkle and story.

Grand Ole Opry

600 Opry Mills Dr
Nashville, TN 37214
615-871-6779

Seeing a show at the Opry is pure magic. There’s something about sitting in those pews, hearing legends and rising stars share the same stage, that makes me want to pinch myself.

Nashville Soccer Club

1 Sony Dr
Nashville, TN 37203
615-342-0598

I never thought I’d be a soccer mom — at least not in the Nashville SC sense — but now I’m hooked. I took the kids on a whim, and we had a ball (pun intended). The music was incredible, the local eats felt like a mini Nashville food tour, and the outdoor stadium’s energy was contagious.

SNOOZE

Bobby

230 4th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37219
615-782-7100

If I needed a place to lay my head in Nashville, the Bobby would be my pick. Just across from our Arcade store, the hip boutique hotel nails the cool-but-cozy vibe with an indoor/outdoor cafe for coffee and light bites, skyline views, and a rooftop complete with pickleball and a vintage Airstream slinging craft cocktails.
