Hey, y'all! One of the questions we get more than almost any other is some version of: "But how do I actually know my hat size?"
We get it. The answer sounds like it should be complicated. It isn't — We promise. And Brittany made a quick video to prove it.
Watch it above and she'll walk you right through it. But here's the gist if you want the quick version:
All you need is a soft measuring tape.
Wrap it around your head where the hat's sweatband would sit. Most of us wear our hats one of two ways, and that changes where you measure.
-
Texas style — hat sitting flat on your head — measure just above your ears, across your eyebrows, and around the center of the back of your head.
-
California style — also known as halo style, tilted back a bit — measure at the angle where the sweatband would actually sit, which is a little higher on your forehead.
Either way, keep that tape snug. Not tight, just snug. That's your number.
No measuring tape? No problem. Grab a ribbon, a piece of yarn, or even a strip of paper. Wrap it around, mark where the ends meet, then measure that distance with a ruler. Voilà — hat size achieved.
Once you've got your measurement, our sizing chart has you covered in both centimeters and inches. And here's my favorite part: if you're between sizes, always size up! Our hats have an adjustable tab inside that lets you dial in the perfect fit — whether your hair is big and curly one day or sleek and straight the next. That little tab is doing a lot of work, y'all.
Now go find the hat that's been waiting for you. 🤠
